Since 2018, we have developed Montessori-inspired content in many different ways. We began by republishing Maria Montessori’s original works for Corriere della Sera, before creating bespoke series with teams of authors led by Grazia Honegger Fresco, Montessori’s former student and our mentor. She oversaw the first collection, which combined theoretical texts with workshops involving children; we were responsible for the photo shoots, editorial coordination, and content development. Later, together with Sara Honegger—Grazia’s daughter and an expert in early childhood education—we created another tailor-made series for the same publisher. Developed in collaboration with a Montessori school and supported by on-site workshops, the collection featured not only photographic volumes but also original paper-based games designed and illustrated for families to use at home. Finally, in partnership with the Bilingual Montessori School of Milan, we developed a series for TV Sorrisi e Canzoni and La Repubblica in which Montessori pedagogy was applied to English-language learning. Like the previous projects, the series was entirely original, with bespoke editorial content and graphic design. It featured our own illustrations and was supported by a dedicated website where readers could download audio tracks to improve pronunciation.
